International Mountain Museum is the biggest museum of Nepal. It is lies at Pokhara at Kaski district at Gandanki zone of Nepal. This museum is very famous in Nepal and other abroad countries as well. It is established in 2057 BS. It is located in Gharipatan-17. This museum is especially made up to give information of mountains.This is a one of the best place where people can get good information about mountains and other information. This is a large and well decorated museum of Nepal. There are presenting many things such as pictures, cultural demonstrations, fossils of mountain’s beings. This museum not only gives information of mountain also gives cultural knowledge of Nepal before and present. There has presented lots of photos of mountaineers and many things which had used by mountaineers such as oxygen gases, stoves, ropes, ice axes etc. There are many beings’ bodies such as birds, butterfly and other animals. By visiting it people can know many more about mountains and other things.
