Fewa Lake

fewa lake Fewa lake is the biggest lake of kaski district and second biggest lake of Nepal. It is lies at kaski district in Gandaki zone. It is very famous and beautiful lake all over the Nepal. This lake is situated at the west side to south side of Pokhara city.
Fewa lake is a very beautiful gift of nature. It's beautiful from attacts people. About to middle of this lake, there is a temple named Barahi Mandir. Many people go there and worship and also leave pea sons. This temple is religiously importance place. This temple uniqueness is, it is middle of Fewa lake.
Fewa lake helps the people in many ways. This lake especially helps to people their fiance. This lake support economic growth of country because every year many tourist come to Nepal to look it and take enjoy by boating, swimming etc. This lake gives people a lots of fishes by selling fishes around of this lake's people passing their lives and earn money. Every year many outer tourists and inner tourists come here to take enjoy. It's importance is increasing day by day.

Now a-days people use this lake for their momentary use. People unnecessarily use it. They wash clothes, bath and throw garbage in Fewa lake, which may reduce financial supper of country and importance of it.

This is one of the best natural gift for Pokhara. We people Pokhara should be given good care of it. This is very precious, beautiful, free gift of nature. We should keep it clean and always take care of it.

Mount Everest

Mt.Everest Mount Everest was know as peak 15 unit’s 1856, when named for six George Everest the surveyor general of India from 1830. The measurement made by great trigram survey in 1850.

Tenzing Norgay Sherpa

tenzing The world is the home of people among them some are very unique and brave. That types of people’s birth in this world very rarely. Among them Tenzing norgay Sherpa is one who is very brave and unique person of this world. He had done very unforgettable task in his time. That work is very heart-breaking deed he had done.
The best person is Tenzeing Norgay Sherpa he was born in 1914AD at Tsa-Chu in Nepal. He is one of the hero of Nepal as well as world. He raised up at Thami in Nepal. He was 13th children of his family. He was a wise person he could speak seven languages but he couldn’t write it even he didn’t learn how to write it. He was very found of climbing mountain from his childhood. In 1993 at the age of 19 he moved to Darjeeling, India to work or to do job. He worked there as a trekking potter. During the war he also worked as an Indian army instructor and teach them.
At 1935 he experience first time of accompanying area and on may 29, 1953 Tenzing and his teammate Edmund Hillary reached the summit of Mt. Everest. And from that day Tenzing received the undecided achievement. He became the first climber to climb Mt. Everest and a global ambassador for all the Sherpa people. He also became very famous and he got name is also written in Guinness book as the climber of mountain Everest all over the world.

Miss Junko Tabei

Junko This world births sometime very courageous person in this world. In that row the lady named is Junko Tabei. She is one of the brave or courageous lady in this world. She is one of the best mountaineer all over the world. She has many world records of mountaineering.
Junko Tabei was born at Fukushim Prefecture in Japan in 1939AD. She was very interested for mountaineering from her childhood. She took her school in a simple school then she joined the university is Showa Women’s University. There she studied from 1953 to 1962. Then she got marry with Masanobu and she gave birth two children. She had great desire to climb mountains so she came to Nepal to make her intention true. She had trained about mountaineering then she made a strong desire to climb the highest peak all over the world named Mt. Everest. She made her dream true in 1975AD to climb Mt. Everest(8848m). After climbed Mt. Everest her self-confidence increased and inspired to climb other peak of the world. After then she went to get victory climbing the world’s peaks. In 1980AD she climbed the African highest peak Mt. Kilimanjero (5895m). Then in 1987 Mt. Aconcagua of South America, in 1989 Mt. Brus (6194m), Mt. Vinson Massif(5140m) of Antarctica in 1991, Mt. Carstensz Pyramid(4884m) of Oceania in 1992AD.
In this way we know her she is the best lady. She said she went to climb mountains 3-4 times in a year and she also became the director of Himalayan Adventure Trust of Japan (HAFJ) and this organization is totally dedicated preserving the mountain environment. Not only this she explained her experience and her adventures in many published books. Her published publications are Annapurna III, Women’s challenge, Our Everest, Everest Mammy and so on. By her great job she had got prize “Gorkha Dakshina Bahu” and many other prizes. She is still known all over the world. She is one of the unforgettable lady of the world.

Amchi -Who is Amchi?
An Amchi is a practitioner of the sowarigpa tradition of medicine which is practiced in the Himalayan regions of Nepal. Sowarigpa or the Amchi tradition, is based on the study of the Gyushi and various other medical texts.
-Where does an Amchi practice?
The Amchi of Nepal practice in the northern mountain districts Humla, Mugu, Dolpa, Mustang, Baglong. Gorkha and Rasuwa. In recent years they have also started to practice in the metropolitan area of Kathmandu and Pokhara.
-How does an Amchi diagnose and treat disease?
An Amchi recognizes that disease is cause by an imbalance in the there humours (wind, and phlegm).
An Amchi makes a diagnosis by interviewing patients and analyzing their pules and skin. Treatment includes herbal medicine, moxibustion, bloottesting, medicinal baths and hot and could compresses.

International Mountain Museum

International Mountain Museum is the biggest museum of Nepal. It is lies at Pokhara at Kaski district at Gandanki zone of Nepal. This museum is very famous in Nepal and other abroad countries as well. It is established in 2057 BS. It is located in Gharipatan-17. This museum is especially made up to give information of mountains.
This is a one of the best place where people can get good information about mountains and other information. This is a large and well decorated museum of Nepal. There are presenting many things such as pictures, cultural demonstrations, fossils of mountain’s beings. This museum not only gives information of mountain also gives cultural knowledge of Nepal before and present. There has presented lots of photos of mountaineers and many things which had used by mountaineers such as oxygen gases, stoves, ropes, ice axes etc. There are many beings’ bodies such as birds, butterfly and other animals. By visiting it people can know many more about mountains and other things.

This place is more interesting and valuable place in the view of tourism and culturally. This museum promotes the tourism and increasing the source of money too. One way it increases money and other way it makes our older culture fresh. This is the place which attracts the people to make their curiosity open about many things. The Beauty Of Pokhara

pokhara city Pokhara is the capital city of western Development region is very beautiful. It lies in the side of the Seti Gandaki, Sarankot and Naudanda are the two main hills that surround Pokhara valley. Fewa, Begnas, Rupa are it’s major lakes where as maid, khaste, Neurani etc are other lakes of Pokhara. Mt. Fishtail and Annapurna are or naments of Pokhara Guptesor Cave, Mahendra cave and Bat cave {chameri} are famous caves of Pokhara.Large number of visitors including students and tourists both domestic and abroad, come to see it’s beauty each year . Pokhara, in many aspects, has been developing as one of the most popular tourists sports in the world.
Pilgrims and tourists visiting Baglung Devi, Tatopani, Galeshwor and Muktinath have go to through Pokhara. From the southern part, the motor road connects it with bhairahawa Palpa, Siddhartha high way joins Pokhara to western part of Nepal. Pokhara is the feason city of Nepal.
Pokhara is also famous for education, communication and many others things. Due to which tourists to visit Pokhara moreover, big markets ,hospitals and beautiful houses are in Pokhara can accommodate almost ten thousands guests.The milky water of Seti river attracts everyone.

MANAKAMAN

manakana It is one of the religious place of Nepal. It is located in Gandaki zone at Gorkha district of Nepal. There is also a story about Manakamana. It is use to say that in the ancient time Ram shah used to rule Gorkha. He married Queen Ratnawati brought Lakhan Thapa as dowry to help her and her family.
After some year Ram Shah died. And during that time people to follow sati custom so, Ratnawati has to go sati with her husband. Lakhan Thapa cried and try to stop her but didn’t instead of that she told him to build a temple named ‘MANAKAMANA’ where her soul will live and she also told him to be pri
est of that temple ‘MANAKAMANA’ where people go to fulfill their wish and desires. And other intresting thing is that is only one temple where the priest is of Magar caste and there is also cable car to MANAKAMANA. This cable car is from kuringtar in chitwan to MANAKAMANA in Gorkha district. It covers 3.1 k/m. Altogether 33 cable cars have been giving service to the people at a cheap rate. This services is also attracting the tourists to our country. To look this religious place tourists are visiting our country. And in whole Nepal it is only one the district where cable car is available and where tourists come mostly to look the beautiful view and to fulfill their wish.

lumbini Lumbini is a very famous place by it's religious importance. This place is known as Lord Buddha birth place. It is lies in at kapilbastu district in lumbini zone. This place is located in terai region of Nepal and western side of Bhairahawa Bazer.


This place is very famous of it's relious and tourism aspects. This place is at first known as all over the world by it's religios prospects because it is the land the Lord Buddha was born, who is "light of Asia". Lord Buddha's many quotation is "peace". By quotation he is famous all in the Asia. Now a day's he is known as 'god' people worship him as a god and follow his precious saying which gives to people the way to salvation.

Hrer has many ancient things which show the lord Buddha's time like MAYADEVI'S mandir, bricks, path, pond, Ashok pillor etc. This ancient things to tally present era of lord Buddha. For thatmany foreign and local tourists come here to visit and to know that by year to year. In this area has established many Buddha's monastries and stupas, which is decorated very attrative way and many are in under construction.
